Basic Obedience- Basic Obedience group classes in Tehachapi are available for dogs of any age. Course consists of 5 dog training lessons, for about an hour a week. They are held at Warrior Park in Tehachapi, CA. Owners will learn how to teach their dog basic obedience skills such as.... Walk on a loose leash, sit, down, stay, come, and more. A test of skills will be given at the end of course and graduates will be provided a Certificate of completion for Basic Obedience Training.
Puppy Class- Puppy Class is a mixture of basic obedience skills, and socialization for puppies 4 - 9 months of age. Puppy Class is a 5 week course held once a week at Meadowbrook Park in Tehachapi, CA. Owners will learn how to observe behaviors and appropriate techniques for polite play and interactions, as well as basic obedience commands such as... sit, down, stay, come, and more.
Basic Obedience 2 - This class is also a 5 week course held once a week at Meadowbrook Park. For dogs of any age that have passed the basic obedience class. Entry will be granted to those who have not previously attended basic obedience if they can show their dog is proficient in the basic skills. This class is for those looking for advanced behavior techniques such as.... Heel, Automatic sit while coming to a stop on walks, long distance recall, going to a mark, and learning how to come sit at your side.
Tricks- Tricks class is just a fun class for anyone looking to have some fun while bonding with your dog. It will be a pop in type class, where you just stop in when you'd like. Course curriculum will be based on the level of the individual dogs abilities
All group classes cost $100 or $120 for each course. $20 deposit is due at sign ups as space is limited. Deposits are generally non refundable, in most cases a spot can be held for a future class if you can not attend. The rest of your payment is due at the beginning of the first class. Once training has begun there will be no refund. If for any reason you can not attend once started you will be given the option of attending a later class. Please bring a properly fitting collar or harness, a regular 6ft. nylon lead, and your dogs favorite bite sized treats! Sign ups are located on the home page.
